This is the trap almost every man walks into. And I understand it, because on paper it makes perfect sense. T is low, T runs metabolism, so put the T back and the fat comes off.
It doesn't work. Here's why.
Raising your T with a booster or TRT does one thing: it forces the number up.
It doesn't touch the oxidative stress that lowered it in the first place. That damage is still there, still grinding on your T-producing cells, all day long.
So you're pouring testosterone in the top while the same wear keeps draining it out the bottom. The tap is running, but the drain was never plugged.
That's why men add TRT, watch their number hit the top of the range, and still can't get the gut off.
And there's a cost. Force testosterone in from the outside and your body notices it doesn't have to make its own. So it slows down or stops.
The cells that produce it, already damaged by oxidative stress, now go quiet from disuse too. Come off, and you're lower than you started.
You didn't fix the reason your T fell. You overrode it, and made your body more dependent while the real damage kept going.
