Quick context — I lift 4x a week. Have for 20 years. Last 3 years I've been stuck. Same numbers, same plateau, no matter what I tweaked.
Started this about 5 weeks ago. Mostly for energy honestly, the gym thing wasn't even the goal.
Last Tuesday I added 15 lbs to my bench. Without trying. It just felt easy. Then my squat went up. Then my deadlift.
I don't know what to tell you — I'm 49 and I'm hitting numbers I haven't hit since my late 30s. Recovery is also stupid. I used to need 2 days minimum after legs, now I'm fine the next day.
Sweating way more in the gym too which I think is part of it. Wife says I'm running hot, told me to sleep on the other side of the bed lol.
Bedroom department's also better. Not gonna spell it out, just take my word for it.
